Peel Sessions : Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy

Another in the occasional series made possible due to the wonderful exploits by some wonderful YouTube Up-loaders. I want to highlight some of those bands that John Peel had recorded sessions for his show over the years

Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy certainly didn’t stand on the fence. They said it as they saw it, probably why John Peel asked them to record this session. It maybe from 1992 but their words are still a relevant today as they were then. Most people may not know of them but ‘Television The Drug Of The Nation‘ struck a chord with many at the time. The best way to describe them is that they were the equivalent of a Hip-Hop Billy Bragg.
