Views : Hardwick Hall – Unspoilt Beauty

Hardwick Hall can be seen from the M1 if you look up into the hills as you drive through Derbyshire. I personally prefer the old ruins of the original old hall compared to the well maintained newer version. For some reason whilst walking around the steep hills besides its walls you imagine an army laying siege to the building. Surrounded by fields and wood lands this is certainly a place to tranquillity only now and then can you hear the rumbling lorries on the motorway. So if you are stuck for somewhere to visit, you can do a lot worse.
