England is famous for its gardens and I can safely say I’m no gardener but I do admire those design and make such stunning surroundings. In a village listed in the Doomesday Book called Dingley they have a bi-annual ‘Open Gardens Day‘ which just happened to be today. You may have heard of Dingley before as it holds ‘Point To Point’ races every year. With less than a dozen houses open to the public it still managed to attract a good turnout. Whilst the village hall provided tea and cake, all home-made and delicious too. So next time you drive on the Corby to Market Harborough road, keep to 30 miles an hour whilst driving through the village and think of these glorious English country gardens.
