Continuing this very popular viewed series of Hidden Gems (tracks which should have been hits or excellent album tracks). I’ll present you a track via YouTube, Soundcloud or other sites. These posts are for the music only.
Today I’ve decided to highlight a John Foxx album track which happens to be the title track of his second solo album ‘The Garden‘. This is an epic of a song with lush sound scapes and some beautiful instrumental sections. It’s almost classical in make up but has John’s distinctive sound. I remember when buying the vinyl copy of this album I wore the grooves out on this particular song. I want to mention Artur Nowakowski who made the video for the song as it incorporates some things I like also. There’s one part of the song which reminds me of the theme to the TV series ‘The World At War‘, I could be wrong.
So what do you think of this piece of music?
