Released at the end of November, this will culminate proceedings for Phildel in 2013 in which has been a magical year for the singer songwriter. To supplement this there are live shows in Glasgow, Manchester and London at the beginning of December to promote ‘The Glass Ghost EP‘. The EP begins with the short but sweet ‘Heaven An Introduction‘ sparse yet effective. Next up is a song I’ve known for over 5 years entitled ‘Ghost‘ and renamed ‘Glass Ghost‘ with its haunting piano and swirling keyboards and echoing vocals. The sound has now been refined and far more fluffier but no less effective. Next is the ‘A’ side song ‘Comfort Me‘ which has a brilliant video see below. This is radio friendly and has a superb catchy chorus and leaves you with an air of optimism on hearing it. ‘Celestial‘ is a much more urgent song with its rapid beat, ripe for someone to turn this into a dance floor smash. For pure enjoyment ‘Porcelain‘ shows what a voice Phildel has and the fact she can produce quality material effortlessly. I’m sure it’s not as easy as that but she delivers on so many occasions. The Delerium remix of ‘Comfort Me‘ concludes this full EP, she’s covering all bases here, so why not grab a copy yourself.
