The late John Peel, had what was regarded as one of the biggest and most fascinating record collections in the entire world. Artists would send demo recordings originally on tape and latterly on CD in the hope he’d give them their five minutes of fame on his show. But what a lot of people didn’t know was that he had a record box which was his ‘collection within the collection’.
