Bitesize : Bristish Sea Power – Machineries Of Joy

The latest album ‘Machineries Of Joy‘ by the ever impressive indie band British Sea Power has caught my attention of late. It was mixed by the legendary Ken Thomas and you can see the quality of his work throughout. The title track is a rousing place to begin with and it’s sophisticated in its structure. Check out also ‘Monsters Of Sunderland‘ and ‘Radio Goddard‘ which really shows their zest for life. But for me the stand out track has to be ‘Loving Animals‘ that reminds me of early Magazine and even the vocals could be that of Mr Howard Devoto. With each subsequent album this band has matured and blossomed  9/10.
