Dave Charles – Harborough FM Radio Show

Most Sunday nights from 7pm to 10pm (UK Time) I tune in to the Dave Charles show on Harborough FM. The show is transmitted only eight miles down the road from me. As Market Harborough is located in a valley, I like a great many folk listen to his show on the internet via the station or Tune-In (the sound quality is excellent). It’s a mix of new exciting bands that have come his way or long-established artists which are about to release a new record. One thing is for sure the three-hour broadcast passes so quickly.

Just after 8pm we get his ‘In The Mix’, three dance tracks and an hour later a few rock tracks. Normally we get an artist interview each week and phone calls from music fans debating some musical item. His enthusiasm for music is immense. The show sometimes is chaotic and he goes off on tangents which makes it a great listen.  Now if you can’t catch his show live on HFM 102.3, you can now listen online via Mixcloud to previous podcasts, well worth checking back on some too.
