Peel Sessions : The Vapors

Many would think that The Vapors were a one hit wonder with ‘Turning Japanese‘, a song that has been misinterpreted by many to mean something else. They were managed by John Weller (yes Paul’s dad) and even had The Jam’s producer enlisted, Vic Coppersmith-Heaven. It’s well worth searching out both their albums ‘New Clear Days‘ and ‘Magnets‘ as there’s real hidden gems to be found there. So have a listen to this session, it’s far more interesting than the studio versions.
