Hidden Gems : Nash The Slash – Dead Man’s Curve

Continuing this very popular viewed series of Hidden Gems (tracks which should have been hits). I’ll present you a track via YouTube, Daily Motion, Soundcloud or another site. These posts are for the music only.

Today I’d thought I’d highlight a strange character who looked like ‘The Invisible Man’ and went under the name of Nash The Slash. He was quite out of synch with popular music yet his quirkiness is what appealed to me. Electronic music with a violin included, yet sounded nothing like Ultravox either. He supported Gary Numan, shared the same label as OMD. But have a listen to great songs like ‘Wolf‘ an epic adaptation of ‘Peter And The Wolf‘ piece of music by Sergei Prokofiev. Then there’s his version of ‘19th Nervous Breakdown‘.

So should this have been a hit or a miss?
