Hidden Gems : Trashcan Sinatras – Obscurity Knocks

Continuing this very popular viewed series of Hidden Gems (tracks which should have been hits). I’ll present you a track via YouTube, Daily Motion, Soundcloud or another site. These posts are for the music only.

When I first heard The Trashcan Sinatras I thought I was listening to a new fellow Scots Aztec Camera single. The sound was so close even the style and vocals were an equal. Their debut album ‘Cake’ is still one of my favourite debut recordings ever. They did make some really cool songs like ‘Only Tongue Can Tell‘ and ‘Hayfever‘. They have released quite an extensive body of work to date. Check out their version of the classic black and white TV series ‘White Horses‘ too.

So should this have been a hit or a miss?
