KUBE : From Acorns Great Oak Trees Do Grow

This is the first a series of blogs on the forthcoming new project by former Josef K frontman, Paul Haig. I feel very privileged to have been given access to let the world know about this formulating concept. The ideas are at an embryonic stage at present but I do expect them to manifest sooner rather than later into completed tracks.

The one thing you will find with the man is that he never sits on his laurels. He has sat close to edge of commercial success yet the greater public still seem quite unaware of his past fruits of labour. His former band is still held in high regard by many other musicians and were signed to the legendary Scottish label – Postcard Records. In fact the label only released one album ever that being a John Peel favourite ‘The Only Fun In Town‘. Both label mates Orange Juice and Aztec Camera though went on to become household names in the UK. You can follow Paul Haig on Twitter @paulhaig
