Hidden Gems : Hard Corps – Metal And Flesh

Continuing this very popular viewed series of Hidden Gems (tracks which should have been hits). I’ll present you a track via YouTube, Daily Motion, Soundcloud or another site. These posts are for the music only.

I decided to highlight a great song I first heard on a John Peel session (4 June 1984) by Hard Corps. All the songs in the session were pretty awesome. They included ‘To Breathe‘ ‘Dirty‘ and ‘Je Suis Passee‘ but this song stood out for me with the instrumental break which gradually expanded upwards in sound. I did finally get the ‘Metal And Flesh‘ CD quite a few years later but the songs did not seem as earthly as the earlier recordings. You can compare below, please comment on your preferences.
