Hidden Gems : Ian McNabb – Great Dreams Of Heaven

Continuing this very popular viewed series of Hidden Gems (tracks which should have been hits). I’ll present you a track via YouTube, Daily Motion, Soundcloud or another site. These posts are for the music only.

With Ian McNabb about to release his new studio album ‘Little Episodes‘ I thought I’d highlight some of his work after the demise of The Icicle Works. Its seems he’ll best known for ‘Love Is A Wonderful Colour‘ but in fact his output has constantly been of a high standard. ‘Truth And Beauty‘ was his first solo outing and it included so many wonderful tracks such as ‘If Love Was Like Guitars‘, ‘I Go My Own Way‘ and the title track ‘Truth and Beauty‘. Since then he’s released a succession of great albums plus all The Icicle Works albums have been re-issued and expanded.

So should this have been a hit or a miss?
