Now we come to one of my fave bands of the 80′s – The Wake, released their best music on Factory Records, formed by ex Altered Image’s Ceasar and originally included Bobby Gillespie on drums. I was lucky to see them quite a few times and were likened to New Order (female keyboard player too). So much so I remember vividly at Futurama 4 at Deeside Leisure Centre, everyone was excited as they thought headliners’ – New Order had come on stage early! This track ‘Talk About The Past‘ is a prime example of their work all re-issued on LTM records – go buy now!
